For a company specialized in the developing, producing and distributing a unique and high-quality range of ingredients for bakers, pastry-chefs and chocolatiers we're searching for a logistic employee .
You are the Planning Coordinator of the Samples Department. You manage the complete sample delivery process (raw materials, experimental products and finished goods) : from a sample request until the delivery, for the subsidiaries and for the direct customers.
You are responsible for managing the complete sample request process from order entry to delivery:

  • Screen the data completeness of the sample requests : who, what, when, how.
  • Search the sample-production formula for experimental products, or not on stock finished goods
  • Do the sample order intake (entry) and make the planning for the sample preparation/production taking into account the lead time, requested delivery time and urgency of the sample
  • Prepare the sample request for execution : interpret the sample request on product availability and requested delivery time
  • Manage and follow up the stock levels and safety stocks of the different items in the sample department (both for the finished goods and raw materials)
  • Create stock transfer orders for the warehouses or create purchase orders
  • Dispatch the sample request for execution (production, repacking and prepare for transport) to one of the sample technicians or in case of resource unavailability, execute the sample production itself ( = backup execution)
  • Follow up of the execution part of the sample request
  • First line trouble shooting for the sample technician
  • Ensure that the administration related to the sample request and accompanying the goods is compliant to the customers and customs request
  • Finalize the sample request by completing the sample request with relevant logistical and invoicing data (price/transport costs/budget ...) so that the automatic invoicing can be done

  • You have good communication skills
  • You are a team player
  • You are customer focused (both for internal and external customers)
  • You have good organizational skills and you are able to set own priorities
  • You speak French and/or Dutch, and you have a professional knowledge of English
  • IT skills : knowledge of Outlook Word, Excel, Access and SAP is a strong asset
  • You are willing to execute heavy physical work in case of urgencies (as you are the backup of the technicians).
