**Job description** We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer who wants to help developing and shaping the Next Generation Pre-operative Planning tool for cardiovascular interventions. You will be part of the Artificial Intelligence team to chart our AI strategy and define the problems we are solving with AI. You will help building our AI development and production infrastructure and setting our technical standards. To succeed you must become an expert in building AI models and putting them into production. **Tasks and responsibilities** * Build AI models from scratch (training & validation) and help others understand results * Further enhance our AI infrastructure e.g. GPU management, virtualization, etc... * Deploy AI models into production * Create APIs and help to put results of your AI models into operations * Keep track of latest AI research relevant to our business domain * Identify opportunities for applying AI within FEops
**Need to have** * Master of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, or equal through experience * Knowledge about Optimalisation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, including techniques such as Deep learning * Demonstrated proficiency in multiple programming languages with a strong foundation in Python * Experience building and validating AI models in platforms such as TensorFlow, Pytorch or Keras * Demonstrated commitment to learn about AI through your own initiatives through courses, books, or side projects * Programming experience with a Linux operating system (e.g. Ubuntu) * Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) * Eager to learn attitude **Nice to have** * Experience with medical devices * Understanding of the standard for the communication and management of medical imaging information and related data, DICOM * Knowledge about versioning and its tools such as GIT
