IT STUDENT ASSISTENT, CHANEL SCANDINAVIA

Are you looking for an exciting hands-on learning opportunity to supplement your studies? CHANEL Scandinavia is now looking for a skilled and motivated IT Intern.

We are looking for an IT Intern to perform various administrative and practical tasks and to support IT daily activities. The position acquires strong IT skills and an analytical mindset.

To succeed in this position, you are diplomatic, service-minded and driven by the opportunity to provide first class support. You have a positive can-do attitude, as you will have to juggle the various demands of a fast-paced business environment. Furthermore, you possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams. You are structured together with possessing a logical approach to solving IT-related issues.

The position is based in Copenhagen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with multiple aspects, such as:

• Employees with technical issues such as forgotten passwords
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• You will be dealing directly with viruses or email issues
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
• Replace parts as required
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Support the roll-out of new applications
• Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Priorities and manage many open cases at one time.

THE PROFILE

• You have a relevant education such as HA(IT) or similar
• You have around 1-2 years left of your education
• Basic knowledge within IT
• Organizational skills
• Well-organized, able to work with deadlines
• An analytical mind
• The ability to work independently, methodically, accurately and neatly
  

LANGUAGES

• Fluent in Danish and English

THE ORGANISATION

You will become part of an affiliate that has been established for a year, and which requires employees with an entrepreneurial mind-set, ability to operate within defined corporate guidelines, and a strong team orientation. In total, the organisation will comprise approx. 80 people across Scandinavia incl. Retail, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate functions.
